World War Z (Book)

Just finished this book last night. A solid read on what would happen to the world if the reanimated dead came back to life. Unlike most other movies covering this topic, this book doesn't just cover the first few hours or days after a zombie attack. Instead, it takes the long view and speculates how the world would react and what would happen years after dead roam the land. It's not very scary at all and is played out as a series of interviews with people from around the world, both civilian and military, on their experiences in the many facets such an attack would bring. The author has obviously put a lot of thought and I'm impressed by the breadth of topics he covers. Well worth picking up and reading. I've even tempted to pick up his first book, The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead.
