Sitting in the Aisle

It's kinda like getting an e-mail from John about what movie he just saw, well, kinda, sorta.

Hollywoodland (Film)

I thought the most interesting premise, the mysterious circumstances surrounding George Reeves death, was surrounded by a lot of uninteresting stuff, pretty much anything having to do with Adrien Brody's character. It's like having a piece of candy with something tasty in the middle, but you gotta get through the rough bit to get it. Is it worth it? Hmmm....at times it felt like I was watching LA Confidential twice removed, like a xerox of a xerox. I've heard similar things about Black Dahlia and I can only take so much plodding Hollywood noir and I think it may be one a season.
